   PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Graphite Part is formed for use in a wide variety of manufactured parts benefiting the automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, chemical, metallurgical, nuclear, and electronics industries. It is usually the result of a copper and pure graphite composite, creating a material that is both structurally sound and reliable. Copper graphite is expensive, but it has improved conductivity and strength compared to pure graphite. Other metallic graphite mixtures may be used but may prove less effective.

Classification of Graphite Products by Industrial Application:

Graphite products are generally categorized based on their functional performance and application scenarios in industrial manufacturing.

1. Graphite Components for Semiconductors, Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Communications

The semiconductor sector relies heavily on high-purity graphite materials for core manufacturing parts, including heating assemblies for single crystal furnaces, sintering moulds for electronic components, and thyristor sintering fixtures.

For communications applications, graphite is processed into optical fiber carbon sheets, telephone transmitter parts and lightning arresters.

2. Graphite Materials for Aerospace & Military Industries

Carbon graphite composites feature outstanding comprehensive properties: excellent high-temperature resistance under oxygen-free environments, stable mechanical strength at extreme heat, low density, and strong wave-absorbing capacity. These advantages make them indispensable in aerospace and military equipment.

Typical applications include motor accessories for rockets, space shuttles and submarines, such as lithium-ion battery components, electric brushes and contact electrodes, as well as specialized electrolytic parts for aerospace systems.

3. Graphite Electrodes for Steelmaking & Other Smelting Furnaces

Heating graphite electrodes act as refractory conductive media and do not take part in metallurgical reactions inside furnaces. Steelmaking-grade graphite electrodes demand low resistivity, high mechanical strength and ultra-low ash content.

Impurities released from consumed electrodes can either be thermally decomposed by furnace heat or separated out alongside molten slag. Such electrodes are widely adopted for smelting steel, non-ferrous metals, alloys and ferroalloys.

4. Graphite Products for Chemical Industry

Chemical graphite products fall into two major groups based on functional demands:

  1. Equipment structural graphite

Made from graphite with superior corrosion resistance and high thermal conductivity, used to fabricate chemical process equipment including heat exchangers and centrifugal pumps.

  1. Electrolytic graphite electrodes

Leveraging excellent electrical conductivity and chemical inertness, these graphite electrodes serve chlor-alkali diaphragm cells, drinking water purification systems and wastewater treatment electrolysis units.
