   PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Diatomite insulation refractory bricks take porous diatomite as the primary raw material, mixed with a small amount of bonding clay. The mixture is blended into pug, followed by molding, drying and high-temperature firing to form finished bricks. As a high-performance thermal insulator, diatomite insulation bricks are extensively used for various industrial kilns and thermal pipelines, with a safe long-term service temperature of 900°C.

Two forming processes are available:

  1. Extrusion molding: Raw pug is extruded by an extruder and cut into standard sizes with steel wires;

  2. Plastic molding: Shaped via plastic forming technology.

After firing, the bricks can be custom-cut to any required dimension.

Advantages:

  • Powerful adsorption capacity

  • Lightweight

  • Excellent sound insulation performance

  • Good wear resistance

  • High temperature resistance

  • Acid corrosion resistance

Application:

Diatomite insulation bricks are widely adopted for thermal insulation in tunnel kilns and all types of industrial furnaces.

They are extensively used for heat preservation of gas and liquid conveying pipelines in power, metallurgy, construction, chemical, petroleum and other industries. Besides, they serve as thermal protective linings for high-temperature thermal equipment, including electric furnaces, heating furnaces, steelmaking furnaces, annealing furnaces and glass furnaces.
