PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Introduction

Fused AZS Block Coarse Particles are high-quality zirconia-containing refractory raw materials mainly composed of alumina (Al₂O₃), zirconia (ZrO₂), and silica (SiO₂). They are produced through electric fusion, cooling, and crushing processes, forming a dense fused structure with low porosity and good resistance to glass melt corrosion.

With a stable crystalline structure consisting mainly of corundum and baddeleyite phases, controlled glass phase content, and good thermal stability, Fused AZS Coarse Particles are widely used as premium refractory aggregates for manufacturing AZS castables, ramming mixes, gunning materials, and other zirconia-containing monolithic refractory products for glass furnace applications.

The material provides good resistance to molten glass erosion, alkali corrosion, and chemical attack under high-temperature glass melting conditions. Various particle size distributions, including 0–1mm, 1–3mm, 3–5mm, and 5–8mm, can be supplied according to different production requirements.
