   PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Introduction

Ladle Refractory Castable is a high-performance monolithic refractory material mainly produced from high-quality bauxite clinker, corundum, magnesia, magnesia-alumina spinel, ultrafine powders, and suitable bonding systems.

Designed for steel ladle linings and other high-temperature metallurgical equipment, the product utilizes optimized raw material combinations, particle size distribution, and micro-powder technology to provide excellent thermal shock resistance, resistance to molten steel and slag attack, volume stability, and mechanical strength under severe service conditions.

Compared with traditional refractory brick linings, castable linings can form integrated refractory structures with reduced joints, minimizing weak points caused by brick joints and improving lining integrity. Different formulations, including alumina-magnesia castable, bauxite-magnesia castable, and spinel-containing castable, can be supplied according to ladle capacity, steel grade, slag conditions, service life requirements, and operating conditions.

Sunrise provides customized Ladle Refractory Castables according to different metallurgical processes, equipment structures, and application requirements.

Features

Excellent thermal shock resistance and resistance to rapid temperature fluctuations.

Good resistance to molten steel and slag penetration.

High mechanical strength and excellent abrasion resistance.

Good volume stability and low permanent deformation at high temperatures.

Dense structure with low porosity, providing improved resistance to corrosion and penetration.

Suitable for integral casting, local repair, and complex lining structures.

Different formulations available for various steel grades, ladle capacities, slag conditions, and service requirements.
