PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Introduction:
Magnesia‑alumina‑chromia bricks are high‑performance refractories composed of magnesium, aluminum, and chromium oxides. They offer outstanding resistance to extreme temperatures, severe thermal shock, and aggressive slag attack.
Features:
l Exceptional heat tolerance – withstands extreme operating conditions, with service temperatures frequently exceeding 1,800°C.
l Superior slag resistance – offers robust chemical durability against both basic and neutral industrial slags.
l Excellent thermal stability – minimizes the risk of cracking and spalling during rapid temperature fluctuations.
Typical applications include:
l Roofs and linings of high-temperature furnaces in the steel industry
l Zinc volatilization kilns
l Roofs of non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces
l Regenerators of glass kilns
