   PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Silica insulation bricks are mainly made of top-class silica, shaped and fired at high temperatures. Silica insulation bricks are a kind of lightweight insulation brick with over 91% silica content and less than 1.2g/cm3 density; silica insulation bricks can service in a high temperatures between 1500~1550℃ for the long term.

Silica insulation brick has the features of lightweight, high strength, and low thermal conductivity, high-temperature resistance, and low impurities

Silica insulation refractory brick is widely used for the insulation of industrial furnaces. It can be used in glass furnaces and hot blast stoves; silica insulation blocks can also be used in coke ovens, carbon forging furnaces, and any other industrial furnaces.

Advantages:

1. Superior High-Temperature Refractoriness

Featuring outstanding refractoriness, the bricks deliver stable performance under extreme heat, with a load softening temperature ranging from 1400°C to 1550°C. This excellent high-temperature resistance makes them perfectly applicable for diverse high-temperature industrial working conditions.

2. Low Thermal Conductivity & Excellent Insulation

The product boasts a low thermal conductivity of 0.55–0.70 W/(m·K), achieving far better thermal insulation performance than high-alumina insulation bricks. It effectively reduces heat loss and improves the overall thermal efficiency of industrial equipment.

3. Lightweight & Easy Construction

With a low bulk density of 1.00–1.20 g/cm³, silica insulation bricks are lightweight and portable. They greatly simplify transportation, handling and on-site installation procedures, lowering construction costs and improving efficiency.

4. High Mechanical Compressive Strength

These bricks possess exceptional compressive strength, outperforming conventional clay insulation bricks in mechanical stability and structural durability. They can withstand routine mechanical stress during operation without deformation or damage.

5. Excellent Acid Corrosion Resistance

Benefiting from its high SiO₂ content, the product features strong resistance to corrosion from various acidic chemical media, ensuring stable service performance in corrosive industrial environments.

Application:

1. Metallurgy & Steelmaking Industry

Widely used for air preheating hot blast stoves, high-temperature blast furnaces, steel rolling heating furnace roofs and other high-temperature metallurgical facilities.

2. Building Materials Industry

Suitable for glass furnace crowns, lining of ceramic tunnel kilns and shuttle kilns, as well as thermal insulation layers for building thermal engineering structures.

3. Chemical Industry

Commonly applied in coke oven insulation layers, hot blast stove walls and domes, chemical reactors and other chemical thermal insulation systems.

4. Power Industry

Ideal for thermal insulation of industrial boiler layers, power plant chimneys and other high-temperature power equipment.
