   PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Introduction

Sialon bonded silicon carbide brick is a high-end non-oxide composite refractory. It takes silicon carbide particles as the main material, mixes with Al-Si composite powder, and undergoes reaction sintering in nitrogen atmosphere.

It integrates the high thermal conductivity and wear resistance of SiC with the excellent chemical inertness and anti-permeability of Sialon, applicable to ultra-harsh high-temperature erosion working conditions.

Features

Excellent high-temperature performance: It maintains high hot strength under long-term thermal load, with ultra-low high-temperature creep, resisting flue gas scouring, particle abrasion and mechanical impact at elevated temperatures.

Excellent thermal shock resistance: Low linear thermal expansion coefficient and matched multi-phase microstructure relieve thermal stress efficiently, avoiding crack initiation and spalling under frequent temperature cycling.

High anti-erosion & anti-infiltration capacity : The Sialon bonding matrix is highly resistant to alkaline slag, molten non-ferrous metal, CO gas and high-temperature oxidation, effectively preventing corrosive media from penetrating into the brick body.

Good thermal conductivity : Retains the high thermal conductivity of silicon carbide, improving uniform heat transfer inside kilns and furnaces.

Application

Blast furnace bosh, belly, lower stack lining, tuyere bricks, iron runner precast components, hot blast stove checker bricks.
