Apparent porosity : 20%
Cold crushing strength : 40 MPa
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Introduction
Metal-phase composite andalusite brick takes high-purity andalusite as the main raw material, compounded with special metal-phase anti-oxidation components, and sintered at high temperature. It retains the advantages of traditional andalusite bricks such as low creep and high volume stability, while greatly improving toughness, thermal shock resistance and structural compactness. It is a premium refractory material designed for harsh high-temperature and frequent thermal cycling working conditions.
Features
- Low high-temperature creep & stable volume: Produces uniform micro-expansion at high temperature to compact brick joints, no deformation or peeling under long-term high load.
- Excellent thermal shock resistance: Metal phase relieves thermal stress, effectively prevents cracking and spalling under frequent cold and hot alternation.
- High strength & wear resistance: Dense structure resists high-speed airflow scouring, dust abrasion and slag erosion.
- Good oxidation resistance: Forms protective oxide film at high temperature to adapt to complex furnace atmospheres.
Application
It is applied to the first coke oven for sewage quenching in China. It is applicable for the upper cone section, pre-deposit section, upper and lower inclination area and cooling area of coke oven for sewage quenching. Mainly applied for key high-temperature parts requiring anti-shock, anti-scour and long service life.
